Wo(men) Mind the Water Podcast

Exploring the connection between women and water through storytelling

But when we want to communicate, we use art. Wo(men) Mind the Water Artivist Series

Wo(men) Mind the Water podcasts engage artists in conversation about their work. We explore their connection with the ocean and how it influences their art. Through these stories, we hope to inspire you and move you to take action to protect the ocean.

We are close to our 100th episode. We’ve spoken with artivists from across the globe working in a broad variety of media. Our latest podcast features Parisa Golchubian, an Iranian-Canadian artist who is called to travel the world. She uses art to express herself, build connection with others, and address marine plastic pollution. We talk about her art, storytelling, AI, and her four business endeavors.

Next up will be an interview with Italian photographer Patrizia Zelano. We talk about her photographic series inspired by the 2019 flood that caused great damage in Venice.
