Wo(men) Mind the Water Podcast
Exploring the connection between women and water through storytelling
But when we want to communicate, we use art. Wo(men) Mind the Water Artivist Series
Wo(men) Mind the Water podcasts engage artists in conversation about their work. We explore their connection with the ocean and how it influences their art. Through these stories, we hope to inspire you and move you to take action to protect the ocean.
We have spoken with more than 85 artivists from across the globe. Our latest podcast features Arielle Moody, co-founder of Mama Sol. The nontoxic sunscreen they created ia safe for all mamas, Mother Earth included.
Next is a chat with Krista Shoe, founder of Mother of Corals. It’s a coral restoration and education organization for citizen scientists. Krista teaches others about how to keep coral healthy. The work is important because coral reefs are areas of enormous ecological, economic, and cultural value.
