Episode 4 of the Podcast and more
Episode 4 of the Women Mind the Water Podcast is now up on our website and an audio-only version is available on iTunes. Episode 4 features Michelle Lee Provencal, a fiber artist whose needle-felted designs draw upon her deep connection to the Maine coast. It’s magical how Michelle transforms sheep’s wool into life-like mussel shells, her signature design. Some of her other designs include sand dollars and harbor seals. Her warm laugh and relaxed manner makes this podcast a fun listen. Don’t forget, if you haven’t listened yet, to make time to listen to Episode 3 with Jill Pelto, an accomplished climate change artist. Jill uses watercolors to create compelling earth science paintings. Her glacier-inspired work entitled Currents which was on the cover of the July 2020 issue of Time.
Something else NEW… a photography section. From time to time new ocean-inspired photographs will be added to the Women Mind the Water site.
